SCENE 2010

Due to popular demand SCENE is planned for 2010 from Tuesday 12th July to Sunday 16th July. SCENE 2010 is a Congress embracing the New Evangelisation for the Catholic Church in Sydney and beyond. This Congress will bring together people from Australia and internationally to focus upon the great movement which is happening in the Church - an era which the late John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI have called "the New Evangelisation".

SCENE calls families, parishes, young people, catechists, teachers, priests and religious, communities and individuals to experience anew the call of the Gospel and to show forth the riches of Christ which have been given to the Church.

"Children of Hope" Tour

Join us as we tour with Fr. Antoine from the St. John Community and visit our local primary schools and parishes to lead Eucharistic Adoration. The tour will run from June 28th – July 9th 2010.

Procession of the Blessed Sacrament
- 14th June 2009

The fifth Eucharistic procession of the Most Blessed Sacrament through the streets of Sydney took place on the Feast of Corpus Christi, Sunday, 14th June, 2009 from St Patrick's Church Hill to St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney.

SCENE 2009 (Sydney Congress Embracing the New Evangelisation)

The Holy Spirit called all young people to be apostles of the New Evangelisation on the anniversary of World Youth Day, 2008.

This congress was held at St Mary's Cathedral on the 19th to 26th of July 2009.

Post WYD Mission - 22-24 July 2008

In conjunction with 330 members and pilgrims of the Community of St John (international), CREDO conducted a three day mission from Tuesday 22nd to Thursday 24th of July in 5 inner city parishes of Sydney, namely Lewisham, Balmain, Kings Cross, Darlinghurst, Erskineville & Broadway. It presented a unique opportunity for evangelisation, taking advantage of the enthusiasm that gripped Sydney following World Youth Day. This prominent annual event had as its theme "Evangelical Preaching" attracting lay-leaders from around Australia working in evangelisation. ICNE BUDAPEST - 11-25 September 2007

The International Congress for the New Evangelisation was held in Budapest, Hungary. See www.icne.hu for Congress programme highlights. The pilgrimage began with a 2 day retreat in Czestochowa (Poland), visiting Katowice & Krakow.
